How to Lose Your Head in Roblox Easy

The Rakeis a first-person horror game created by RZVV created on 9/27/18 after his original Rake game, The Rake Beta was deleted for too much blood and gore. On 2/11/22, RVVZ revamped The Rake Classic Editon (as it was called then) and turned it into The Rake REMASTERED.

Gameplay

In terms of gameplay, The Rake is based on survival, set at night-time in a forest. It's simple theme is somewhat comparable to game adaptations of the Slenderman franchise.

Game Modes

The players must survive 8 minutes of nighttime while the Rake is hunting them. During this time, they can use location and items to aid in their survival. After 8 minutes the Rake will run back to his cave as daytime starts. Daytime only lasts 2 minutes but during those 2 minutes it is safe to wander around the map and you can buy items from the shop from the points you earned; if you survived the night, you will be given 100 points, while if you didn't you would only get 25. After 2 minutes, the Rake will emerge from his cave and night will begin once more.

There is also a third game mode known as Blood Hour. There is a 1/3 chance of Blood Hour will start if the Rake has taken a significant amount of damage without dying. During Blood Hour, the sky will turn crimson, and the Rake is 3x stronger, making it very hard to survive. Surviving Blood Hour, however, will give you 200 points. Killing the Rake will also get you 200 points.

Locations

There are many locations in The Rake but only four can be used. These are the Tower, Shop, Safe House and Power Station. The Base Camp can also be entered but it does not do anything.

The Safe House is the safest location in-game as it has a door which can be closed, although the door requires power and will not work during power outages. There is a boarded-up hole in the Safe House's roof which the Rake can break through.
The Power Station can be used to restore the power if it goes out. Power Outages can occur if the Safe House and Tower utilities are used too long but the power will also go out as soon as Blood Hour starts.
The Tower is the least safe area in the Rake as if the Rake climbs up the ladder, you will either be forced to confront him by going down the ladder or jump off. Both will most likely result in death.
The Shop is only open during the day, and you can buy items to boost your chance of surviving.

Tips

Don't go to the Tower during the night unless you know what you're doing. Don't use the lights on the Tower either, as they will waste power.
Don't keep the Safe House door closed during the day as it drains the power. Only use the Doors/Lights when you need them.
If the Power goes out, its best to wait until day as the Rake can find you there while you're restarting it during the night.
Don't fire the flare gun at night; it attracts the Rake.
If you're fighting the Rake, make sure to do it near the Cave that way if Blood Hour starts you have time to run, whereas if you fight him in a random spot, you might accidently make it back there during Blood Hour.
Stay in a group and when the Rake attacks, split up that way he is forced to go after one person.

Criticism

While the game is mainly good, some Youtubers have criticized it for the lack of updates (the game is still in its winter map) and for how hard it is to see at night, whereas in the Classic Edition you could at least see some things at night.
